Blind Date

I went with a friend of mine last night to the city to meet someone she had met online. From his picture, I called him Sex-on-a-Stick. Because he looked very good looking. Turns out he's rather quite average. Although pretty sure he's the guy Aladdin was based off of. It was pretty fun- we met at Timmies then he invited us to play pool at the pool place. I had never played before, but for my first time I did pretty awesome. That, and that my friend had played pool before, coupled with the fact that we cheated, made us win. It was funny.

But before that half awkward, half amusing meeting, we went shopping! I found some boots which are epic. And overalls. And leggings for my steampunk costume that I've only been looking for for ten months! It was marvelous. Then we went to see Immortal Instruments: City of Bones. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it, but don't be like those idiots beside us that brought their 8-year-old children to it. It's not a children's show.

I have three days left on this planet. In that time I still have..... just about everything to pack. I have a thingamajig box packed, and a plan... sort've... but between work and Dark Heresy and hanging out with friends, I simply don't have the time. But it's okay. Sleep is for the weak.
