We know that from grades 1 through 12 she homeschooled. She has an older sister who has a two-month-old daughter and a husband named Brad. We know she has a younger brother who moved to Lethbridge, got fired from his job, moved back home, and is now working at a ski resort as a chef.
We know that from a young age, Grace has want
ed to be an artist. As she grew older, it was decided that she would become a fashion designer, so she moved to Red Deer to attend Red Deer College's Visual Art program to start her journey. Within her first two months in Red Deer she was kicked out of her place of residence, due to personality conflicts with her and her landlady. She then moved to a house belonging to a friend of a friend, where she resided for four months, upon which she was then kicked out again, due to more personality conflicts. In less than 24 hours she located and scouted out a new place, five minutes from the college, and fell in love. Not with the house it self, but with the yet again confirmed security that God is forever looking out for her, and providing for her when needed.
Around this time, Grace struggled in her schooling career. Projects were bountiful and she was over-stressed, overwhelmed, and overworked. However, in spite of everything going on at home and with friendships crashing and burning, her work thrived. The worse things got in her personal life, the harder she worked on her projects, and she earned the best marks in her class.
She finished her second year at college coming out on top, winning the travel scholarship and being able to travel to Amsterdam, where she visited the Van Gogh Museum, which was her life-long dream.
She then traveled all across Europe, landing an internship in Switzerland with a well-known fashion magazine. She worked her way up from intern to photographer to finally working beside the magazine's personal designers. A few years later, with the help of the connections Grace made through her work, she opened up her own self-titled label, and began making her clothes. Inspired by the world of Steampunk, Grace's fashions were a unique concept to the world, and was quickly embraced by all body types of all ages of all genders. Nothing Grace made was over-priced or under appreciated. She created an entire line devoted strictly for larger women, ensuring that every woman who wore one of her pieces looked like a million bucks.

Grace has been known for saying that whenever life tries to bring you down, it's one more opportunity to prove your strength. It's your choice whether you're proving it to yourself, your family, your friends, or God. But whatever your motivation, it's important to keep going. Don't let little failures define your life, and you "sure as hell can't let people dictate the way you run your life" (Times Magazine 2023).
In her lifetime, Grace was kicked out, torn down, ripped apart, stabbed in the back, and trampled upon, numerous times. She always claimed that it was because "I'm a free spirit. One that can't be contained and can't be controlled. And people don't like that", and never let it affect her life. She continued dreaming, in spite of all her hardships. "To stop dreaming is to stop breathing. Your dreams only die if you let them." (The Sun, 2022).To this day, you will still find her stores in every major city in every province and territory in Canada, as well as select cities in Switzerland, France, and Germany- the country where she resides today with her husband Hans and three children: Finnigan, Rose, and Jack.
