Last week in drawing we got to spend the first half of class, about 3 and a half hours, drawing the set for the current play the theatre program is putting on: Three Musketeers. This differs from an isometric drawing, because this is considered a perspective drawing. Isometric is where every angle is parallel, but perspective includes vanishing points, so angles are not going to line up with each other. I will post a more rendered image of my drawing once I have rendered it more.
The set was based off of an MC Escher drawing, so there was quite a bit of floating furniture, which I didn't really include save a couple pieces. I have to shadow the drawing and give it more dimension, which I don't totally want to do because I like it as a line, but Ian (my drawing teacher) wants to see it fully finished, and I know other people in my class will have better drawings if I don't render mine. Soooooo I must do what I must.
