Yesterday my roommate Jocelyn and I went into town and picked up some ice cream. This evening after Movement we invited some of our classmates over to eat it. Turns out that the election day in the US was today, so we are in the process of talking about Obama being re-elected, previous presidents, burning down the Whitehouse, and John, our 61-year-old classmate, talking about his relatives in the Civil War and his experience in life, living down in the US.
Before coming home I played keep-away with a pencil and Caleb, a 6'2" classmate. I had his pencil, and he couldn't grab it. It took a long time and a headlock for him to actually retrieve it. And he's the one who always makes short jokes, and I finally one-upped him.
In movement, we learned how to English Country dance, because our movement instructor choreographed those dances for Theatre Calgary's Pride and Prejudice this year.
All in all, a good night.
