I have yet to add pictures of my fully finished, fully polished and pattinated look, but in the meantime this is what I have. It is now bronze, and it looks the sort of white colour because I had just sand blasted it, which you do to help get all of the ceramic shell off of it. I sandblasted it, then I drilled it off of the sprue system, which was also in bronze. That was an ordeal that required electric and air powered instruments. But after much grinding and smoothing, the piece was free and beautiful. More to come.
