Another Date with Myself

Over the past couple of weeks I have had a couple me-dates, but due to low funding I can't be too extravagant. It's been nice though- I can get out of the house for a few hours and just tune out. Spend some time alone, away from people and obligations and life.
The other day I went to chapters, ordered a cinnamon something-or-other that was DELICIOUS, put in my music and drew for a few hours. I have to design a house for 3D Fundamentals, so I spent probably... three hours? to draw four isometric elevation drawings. Bumped in to a few people from my hometown, which was weird but very nice; it's good to have small reminders of my home now and again. It grounds me. Gets rid of the cobwebs in my head and reminds me where I come from.
There's been one more trip to Sunworks in the last couple of weeks, and I had this chili thing that was so delicious, and makes me wish I cooked. But I'm slowly coming to this realization that I might be one of those people who don't cook. I moved out thinking I would become this great cook coming up with all sorts of easy recipes for lunches and suppers and snacks and stuff. Nope. I don't know if it's because I'm lazy or just uncreative, or maybe I just never have the right food in the house because the right food costs money and I can't justify spending money on ingredients. Whatever the reason, it hasn't happened yet, and I've been out of the house for a year and a half.
Maybe after I become a wife.

1. My bathtub candle evening.
2. The chili thing from Sunworks. It was seriously so amazing.
3. Water from Sunworks with a cinnamon stick. The ways they fix the water in that place is truly inspiring. Weirdly enough.
4. My daily journal writing. Currently in a traveling-themed journal. I have ten empty ones waiting for me, so I have to fill this up as quickly as possible.
5. A date with myself at BPs. Glass of lemon water and a glass of lime and gin.
6. That cinnamon coffee thing. Ah. So good.
